The charity component of the ANCC Foundation consists almost entirely of the Staff Support Program (SSP). Working in conjunction with the ANCC professional Staff, the SSP provides grants and interest-free loans to members of the ANCC staff who, through no fault of their own, find themselves in dire financial straits.
Under this program, a member of the staff requests assistance through their supervisor to the appropriate Assistant General Manager. The program relies upon the requester’s supervisor and AGM to investigate the staff member’s situation and make a recommendation. Grants are provided by the ANCC Foundation.
As of September 2024, more than $203.000 in grants and loans have been provided to over 195 staff members.
At the 2022 Club Manager’s Association of America, the Army Navy Country Club (ANCC) and the ANCC Foundation were awarded a Blue Ribbon (First Place) for the Staff Support Program.
